Join Opacum Land Trust and Dezeree, from The Bird Store and More in Sturbridge, for an introduction to birding walk at the Claire Birtz Wildlife Sanctuary.
We will take a mile long hike along Morse Pond to learn about some of the common birds found in the area and the species we might see based on the sanctuary’s habitat types. Along the way, we’ll share tips and tricks for identifying birds by sight and sound. You’ll want to bring a pair of binoculars along if you have them!
This walk is geared toward birders of all experience levels, we hope you can join us.
