Duthie Woods Workday
Wednesday April 8 from 9am – 12pm
What: Clearing overgrown vegetation, trimming branches, and removing debris. If time permits, we may also re-blaze portions of the trail.
Where: Duthie Woods. Reimers Rd., Monson MA
Directions: From Rt. 32 heading south, turn right onto Fountain St. then right onto High St. (which will become Wilbraham Rd.). Continue for ~1.9 miles, then turn right onto Reimers Rd. There will be two forks in the road, so be sure to stay on Reimers Rd. Continue on Reimers Rd. for ~1.25 miles to find the small parking area with a kiosk on the right.
Parking: There is a small parking area at the trailhead.
*Please bring water, sturdy close-toed shoes, layers for warmth, orange clothing for safety during hunting season. Also bring work gloves, clippers, loppers, and hand saws if you have them.
