Flynt Quarry Workday
Friday May 1 from 9am – 12pm
What: Clearing overgrown vegetation, trimming branches, and removing debris. If time permits, we may also re-blaze portions of the trail.
Where: Flynt Quarry. Upper Palmer Rd./Margaret St., Monson MA
Directions: From center of Monson, head down High St. Take a right on Margaret St, property is on the right with a sign and gravel on side of the road for parking.
Parking: There is ample parking along the road frontage of Upper Palmer Rd/Margaret St.
*Please bring water, sturdy close-toed shoes, layers for warmth, orange clothing for safety during hunting season. Also bring work gloves, clippers, loppers, and hand saws if you have them.
