Gradon & Virginia Morse Woodland Preserve Workday
Wednesday April 15 from 9am – 12pm
What: Clearing overgrown vegetation, trimming branches, and removing debris. If time permits, we may also re-blaze portions of the trail.
Where: Gradon & Virginia Morse Woodland Preserve. Tipton Rock Rd., Southbridge MA
Directions: To Tipton Rock Rd Parking: Heading South on Route 169, take a right on Tipton Rock Road. Follow the road for 0.2 miles, and the small parking area will be on your left.
Note: This is the same parking area as the Claire Birtz Wildlife Sanctuary.
Be aware that sections of Tipton Rock Road are discontinuous, forming dead ends. Do not approach from Blackmer Rd. or Lebanon Hill.
Parking: There is a small parking area at the trailhead.
*Please bring water, sturdy close-toed shoes, layers for warmth, orange clothing for safety during hunting season. Also bring work gloves, clippers, loppers, and hand saws if you have them.
