Southbridge Urban Forestry Walk
When: Saturday, June 13 at 10 am
Where: Southbridge Town Common, Crystal St., Southbridge, MA
Parking: There is parking along the Common on Crystal St.
Join us as we explore Southbridge on an educational walk that will discuss the town’s history through the lens of urban forestry. This event will be led by Steve Brady, Jeff Hehman and John Moore, who serve on Southbridge’s Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Board. We will begin our walk at the Southbridge Town Common and will then walk around the area to observe and discuss the tree species we find. Along the way, we will discuss how the Town of Southbridge has evolved over time, and how the trees have changed along with it.
