66 More Acres of Forest Conserved in Monson

July 23, 2021

Together, we are protecting land, water, and wildlife for current and future generations.

Thanks to you, this July Opacum Land Trust and the Town of Monson permanently protected 66 acres of forestland on Hovey Rd in Monson, MA.

This land is important for wildlife habitats, it includes historic and prehistoric sites, and connects to land already conserved by the town, state, and Norcross Wildlife Foundation. Protecting forests like this is essential to slowing the effects of climate change. Stay tuned for more information on trails!
