The Southbridge Credit Union Tour Opacum: Bike Ride for Land Conservation is Opacum Land Trust’s largest and most important fundraising event of the year. This event makes local land conservation happen. We need YOU to help make it a success!

Volunteer Opportunities For Everyone!

Pre-Event Support:

Monday, September 15th – 1 PM

• Location: Opacum Land Trust Office, 2 Brookfield Rd, Brimfield, MA
• How You Can Help: Event preparation and organization; Help get everything ready for our big day!

Saturday, September 20th – 8 AM

• Location: Opacum Land Trust office, 2 Brookfield Rd, Brimfield, MA
• How You Can Help: Route marking and rest stop PB&J sandwich preparation
• Note about route marking – this involves driving the routes and placing route marking signs and colored stickers on the road along the routes. Route marking volunteers will be divided into groups of 2-3 people.

Saturday, September 20th – Afternoon (time TBD)

• Location: Opacum Land Trust office, 2nd floor, 2 Brookfield Rd, Brimfield, MA
• How You Can Help: Transport event materials from office to Brimfield Winery and help with event set up

Event Day – Sunday, September 21st

Choose the shift that works best for your schedule!

Shift 1: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM

• Early bird team to get everything started

Shift 2: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Peak event hours

Shift 3: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Help us finish strong and clean up

Event day tasks include:

• Participant registration
• Parking assistance
• Merchandise sales
• General event support
